SKC held a virtual tour of “The Amazing Cabbage” by KidsSTOP on 14-16 March 2022. Our N2s-K2s were very excited to go on this virtual tour! Through this virtual tour, children will appreciate creative drama via story-telling and acquire tactile sensibilities through hands-on exploration of science experiments and crafts!
This virtual tour exposes the children to garden varieties such as cabbages through the story telling session. The children went on an adventure where they escaped The Magic Forest with Win and Pepper as they work together to find the way out while warding off the nasty creatures lurking in it! The children had engaging discussions about the events that occurred in the story.
Children dancing excitedly to the KidsSTOP song!
The children were engaged in activities such as watching a presentation about “The Amazing Cabbage”, dancing to the KidsSTOP song, and creating art and craft in line with the theme of cabbages!
Our N2 children exploring textures and colours as they did a cabbage printing art activity. The children carefully observed the interesting and unique prints on their paper!
The K1s focusing intently to make a cabbage craft by rolling many pieces of green paper! Who knew layering and glueing pieces of green paper together would form the beutiful cabbage! Well done K1s!
The K2 children tapped in to their 5 senses and explored the squishy texture of dough. They carefully flattened small chunks of dough to make the cabbage petals in which they gently combine together to form the whole cabbage! Be careful not to squish the cabbage K2s!
