K1 and K2 children shared some learning centre games and activities for our elders to enjoy.
We visited Esther’s Seniors Centre again last 9th July 2018 and this time around, we prepared some activities and games that we wanted to teach our dear elders.
These includes exploring with loose parts, paper sculpture making and various fine motor skills activities.
Children and teachers set up different stations and children will be standing by on their stations to introduce the activities to our elders. Part of their role as well is to help our elderlys throughout the tasks and activities.
Children inviting elders to visit and join them in their stations by talking with them and asking their permissions.
Our dear elders were having fun and seem very interested with the activities that we prepared. Here are some of the snapshots of our fun activities!
We were very glad to have the opportunity to get along with the elders and have our children experienced a one of a kind journey. Through this, children learned how to show respect not only by words but also by deeds, they also learned to value of kindness by the way they treat other adults around them.
Thank you Esthers Seniors Centre for this wonderful opportunity!
It was a great pleasure to embark and partake our children in this kindness journey!
