A trip down to East Coast Beach gave the children the opportunity to help save the environment by helping to clean the beach. There were litter such as cigarette butts, plastic bottles and tissue papers found on the beach! The children learnt the importance of throwing rubbish in designated bins provided and not in the sea. Rubbish in the sea and ocean will affect the health of the sea animals, and in turn, pose a deadly threat to marine life.
