We turned this year’s SSDB initiative into a hands-on learning experience to foster our children’s kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity. For the month of June, our Centre organized a donation drive box whereby parents can donate food items such as instant noodles, coffee, malts, and biscuits.
With this kind gesture, we were able to impart the most valuable lesson with our children: sharing and kindness.
With this, we would like to extend our gratitude with our parents who generously donate the food items that made our project possible.
We came to an end of this year’s SSDB project, “Kindness to our Community”. The children were able to gather a total of 180 goodie bags and 5 hampers to share with the community.
The most heartfelt part of this activity is when the children gave out their goodies to the workers and elderly in the neighborhood. We have witnessed the priceless smiles from our children upon handing their goodies and the act of gratefulness shown by our neighbors.
Our Centre’s involvement to this year’s SSDB initiative reflects our continuous commitment to nurturing our children into compassionate and thoughtful individuals.
