Kindness comes in many forms but always from the heart - unknown
Parents and children were asked to fold 200 hearts together in exchange for 50 bags of household food products, packed by the children, and will be donated.
After the hearts were folded, we created a collage as our hearts counter.
We successfully folded 200 hearts and donated 50 bags of household food products to the Thye Hua Kwan - Senior Activity Centre @ MacPherson.
Mr Andy accepted our donations on behalf of THK SAC
We visited and did a performance for the seniors at the THK senior activity centre before handing out the bags to them. We hope that our small little gestures had brighten up their day!
We hope, through this project, children get to understand and learn that kindness can be in a form of many simple things (e.g giving a smile, folding hearts) and that they would appreciate the community and people around them no matter what age and what profession they are in.
We would like to thank our partners, sponsors and our parents and children for all their support towards our Kindness From The Heart Project.
