Teacher: What happen if the beach is dirty and filled with garbage?
Children: it will be smelly! And dirty!
Teacher: Let’s imagine if the garbage moves or fly into the water. What will happen? What if the fish eats the garbage?
Children: (in unision) they will die!!
Teacher: So is it important to keep the beach clean?
Children: yes!
During current issue, I showed an article in relation to the dirty beach. Through this article, the children were taught on the importance of keeping the environment clean and how it may affect others especially the animals. As such, we participated in the ‘Keep clean Singapore’ campaign. The children helped in collecting the rubbish as well as classifying things which can be recycled and things which cannot be recycle.
