Spreading kindness is not only towards people. It includes showing care and concern towards the environment. The sunflower kids did their part by supporting the ‘Keep Clean, Singapore!’ which is spearheaded by the Public Hygiene Council (PHC) and supported by the Singapore Kindness Movement and the National Environment Agency. They were taught to take ownership of the environment where every child takes action and leads by example to keep the public spaces clean. They walked over to Pasir Ris Park on 19 May 2017 for the community clean-up. They carried message boards to spread the awareness of keeping the environment clean and green. Despite the hot and humid day, the children did their best and most importantly, they had fun. Everyone is included in this initiative. The younger children walked over to Atlantis Park behind the school to do their part for the community.
