One of our goals for this year’s SSDB is not just to involve the family of the children but to also find a way to make our community informed about what’s happening to our wildlife.
What’s the best way to capture the attention of the people in our community? WE DECIDED TO TAKE IT TO THE STREETS!
But before we can do that, we have to make some paraphernalias that we can use..
So we painted a banner…
The banner says:
“Protect the wildlife” “Save the animals”
And we made posters as well.
We also made smaller versions of their posters so that they can give out to the people around. IT’S PARADE DAY!
It was a fine sunny morning when the children went out. All of them were assigned to take part on our parade. Some of them wore head costumes of the wildlife animals..
Some were asked to hold the banners..
While some held the posters high so that people would see. 😊
Some of them were also assigned to talk and share about our advocacy to the people we saw around.
Sure, it was a very tiring day for the kids but it was also very fun and fulfilling. They said they want to do it again!! 🤩
We hope this effort of the children helps us see as well the importance of saving our wildlife animals.
