As part of SSDB project for the year 2022, our school partnered with Mandai Wildlife Group to adopt Pedro!
Pedro is a California Sea Lion which is now in our Singapore Zoo.
In order to become an adopter of Pedro, the children needed to do a drive that will help them raise fund.
Their first step was to author a book! As a class they wrote three different stories about how to save and protect our wildlife animals.

At the end of each story books lies the question:
“Will you help me adopt Pedro… Please?”
All story books were brought home to be read to their parents.
Along with the storybooks, the children also made a pledge card, in this pledge card the children commit to exchange their hardwork for some donations.
In their pledge card, they wrote down different household chores that they can promise to do at home.
Some lines were also left blank for their parents to fill!
The children were very excited to help mummy and daddy do chores at home! 🐾💪🏻
