On 31st May, we invited our little ones’ grandparents and parents to join us in celebrating Hari Raya Puasa. We began with a talk about how the festival was celebrated. The children also did a mini dance performance for their grandparents too.
Alongside with our theme on ‘Caring for the Elderly’, our little ones served some traditional Malay foods such as Lontong, cakes and bandung drink to their grandparents. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. The K1s and K2s also presented colourful drawings with their own handprints on it to their grandparents.
We ended the celebration with a game of musical chairs which the young and the old enjoyed. It was truly a memorable and a bonding moment for all of us.
