B.L.E.S.S project was launched on the 29 March 2019, Friday. Parents and children were invited to visit the Discovery Centre at Kim Keat Road.
At the Discovery Centre, the group were split into two groups- Parents group and Children’s group. Parents were given a talk on how to take care of their kidneys and the food that the kidney patients can eat while at the children side, the children were educated on the healthy plate- the servings of each type of food group.
The visit ended with a talk by Mrs Spruyt where she garnered the support from parents in terms of monetary and contribution of food to the kidney patients.
