The children embarked on a project with the focus of My Family, My Community. The children shared about their family which encouraged self confidence and sense of belonging. Also, they were guided in writing a letter and following the procedures in mailing a letter. For example, a stamp is a must for postage. They knew the importance of appreciating their family by expressing it in a letter.
