Enfant’s K2 class is excited to be part of this year’s SSDB project and launched our project on 30th April 2024.
The topic for this year’s project is “Big Ways, Small Ways, All OK! Let’s Save Water! We hope to expose and educate the children about water conservation and empower us to become guardians of our water resources. In line with this topic, we are in collaboration with Public Utilities Board (PUB) as our community partner this year.
We have lined up several exciting activities both within the school and the school’s vicinity to spread awareness about our topic.
At our launch party, the K2 children were given details on their timeline and upcoming activities and projects that they will be embarking on. They also recited their water conserving pledge and created their very own Water Warrior headbands!
We have been collecting rice water weekly, from our school cook and supporting staffs to water our plants at our rooftop garden. The K2s are also monitoring and conserving their water usage for their daily toothbrushing routines.
We also integrated the recent service-learning visit by Punggol Secondary School (PSS) with the theme. The students engaged us with a discovery experiment on water filtration and played games that encompasses our project.
