This year our kindergarten 2 children embarked on recycling for Start Small Dream Big project .
Eco enzyme involves fermentation of kitchen waste , brown sugar and water to create cleaning agent with disinfectant properties . As it derived from natural ingredients such as fruits peels , vegetables , it helps to reduce the use of commercial products which are harmful to the environment.
Through this project , we would like to create awareness on the importance of recycling and how it helps to save the environment . Recycling does not limit to plastics, cardboards, metal etc . Kitchen waste can also be recycled to be useful for cleaning. We got parents to donate their fruit peels and discarded vegetable for our project.
In this project , children experiment on creating enzyme solution with different ingredients . Children used the solution to clean their tables after mealtime.
