The Nursery and K1 children ventured to Gardens City Farm to discover more about the Food waste cycle and the African Night Crawlers! They had the chance to witness the eggs of these creatures and even their little ones! The farmers also demonstrated how worm castings are harvested at the farm and used as fertiliser. The farm tour concluded with an interactive session with the African Night Crawlers, providing the children with a memorable experience.
