This week our Nursery 2 make pencil holder from milk canned that we recycled. They decorated their pencil holder with materials provided. They learned that there are many ways to recycle the milk canned. Other than pencil holders, we can make as bird feeder, tolietries holder, makeup brush holder.
This week, the K1 children looked into making useful trash. They revisited the ideas that they had brainstormed previously and decided to go with coasters made by magazines. In this craft, the children explore the art elements of shapes, textures, colors and form. They applied dexterity as they fold, roll and squeezed the magazines into shape. Even though the entire process is energy consuming, the children persevered and placed great efforts. They too, guided and helped one another in the process. They were truly satisifed and proud of the end product. Well done, children!
