“I want to be a policeman when I grow up!”
Our N2, K1 and K2 children participated in our school’s community partnership project, where some police officers from the neighbourhood police post shared more about their job as a policeman.
“Policeman can catch bad guys one!”
Our N2, K1 and K2 children were enthusiastically looking forward to the police talk conducted by neighbourhood police officers. As the officers shared more in-depth to their job scope, our children paid close attention to the officers’ contributions in protecting citizens within the neighbourhood.
“Do you always use your gun to shoot the bad guys?”
The police officers brought in several police equipment which they often used when executing their roles as policemen. As our N2, K1 and K2 children explored the different equipment, they posed questions to the police officers as they demonstrated and explained of how each equipment play their part. Through a Quiz session, the police officers even gifted some of our children with a police hat!
“Wow, the shield can protect us from bullets!”
Our N2, K1 and K2 children were given an opportunity to explore the interior of a police car as the police officers gave an overview of the features within the car and our children were able to gain more insights on these functions. When a police shield was taken out from the trunk of the police car, our children displayed their excitement as they wanted to explore more about the shield!
“Thank you, police officers!”
Coming to an end of the police talk, our N2, K1 and K2 children expressed their gratitudes for the police officers by presenting an appreciation poster to them. Some of our children even felt inspired to become a police officer when they grew up!
