To wrap up our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project for the year, we incorporated a booth during our Children’s Day carnival for children and their families to show appreciation for then grandparents. Children gathered at our mini booth, where each of them received a card to decorate, colour, and write short messages for their grandparents. These cards were kindly provided by our partners, Families for Life. Our aim was to instill values of care, generosity and affection toward their elderly and to foster strong relationships with their grandparents.
As grandparents fill the world with love and makes it warmer, our SSDB project might be over, but we will continue to encourage our children to demonstrate care and respect for the elderly, both at home and in our community.
