In the course of learning about caring for the elderly, children were given opportunities to learn more about the oldest members of their family, namely, the grandparents. They learnt about suitable physical activities for the elderly as well as the games they used to play during their childhood. Trying out Tai Ji, playing five stones and skipping over the “zero-point” rope was not easy but was sure sheer fun! Above all, they gained the understanding of how they can enrich themselves through the treasure trove of their grandparents’ knowledge.
