Canberra Eastlink has initiated a food donation drive, encouraging children to take part in the spirit of giving by sharing the importance of generosity with their parents. We are thrilled by the enthusiastic response from the children and their families, who have eagerly supported this cause.
At school, the children were also given a hands-on opportunity to carefully pack the donated items into boxes, preparing them for delivery to All Saints Home. This experience has allowed the children to contribute to the community and learn the value of compassion and helping those in need.
All packed and ready to go! Our K2 children made another meaningful visit to All Saints Home, where they were excited to present the donated food items to the senior residents. Their enthusiasm was uplifting as they handed over the goods and brightened the day by performing cheerful songs. The visit continued with interactive games, allowing both the children and seniors to bond together.
This entire experience has been significant for everyone involved. We hope this marks the beginning of a lasting partnership, and we look forward to continuing this journey together for many more years.
