The children wondered about how the visually-impaired create artworks. One example that we learnt from Amanda at iC2 Prephouse was the use of textured paint.
We mixed equal parts of flour, salt and water to create our paint. The salt gave a rough texture, which the children enjoyed touching and playing with.
The children incorporated the textured paint into their drawings, and waited a few days for the paint to dry. Afterwards, we paired up to talk to each other about our artwork.
