As part of 2020’s Start Small, Dream Big campaign, our Kindergarten 1 class have embarked on the project on Caring for the People in their Community, specifically people with visual-impairment.
As the children will be learning all about visual impairment, we initiated their learning by exploring our eyes and daily eyecare habits.
The children then wondered how someone who is visually-impaired can engage in daily activities such as reading and walking. We decided to work with Ms. Amanda, who is a Vision Teacher at iC2 Prephouse, to learn more about Visual Impairment.
