2021 SSDB launch party cum Earth Day!
Pariposa Preschool raised 2000KG of rice donation for the Willing Hearts organization.
Willing Hearts is a secular, non-affiliated charity.It operates a soup kitchen that prepares, cooks and distributes about 9,500 daily meals to over 40 locations island wide, 365 days a year. Beneficiaries include the elderly, the disabled, low income families, children from single parent families or otherwise poverty stricken families, and migrant workers in Singapore.
Willing Hearts is registered as a society with the Ministry of Home Affairs and as a charity with the Ministry of Ministry of Social and Family Development.
We are thankful to our little SSDB agents, parents & staff who worked together on this wonderful act of kindness.
This project supports the 2021 SSDB theme-“*Staying connected,Make a difference,” Pariposa aims to
empower life-long learners and nurture compassionate citizens.
When children become actively involved in acts of showing compassion towards others, they learn this value in a very deep and enduring way. Participating in community service is meaningful and fun, which makes one think compassionately about the needs of others.
