Using the material provided by the National Environment Agency, the children were introduced to Captain Green through the story ‘Captain Green Captain Green - The Sick Day’ by Rachel Huang and Muhd Farhan. They learnt that they should clean up their environment to prevent any spread of mosquito-borne diseases. Furthermore, we discussed on how each and every could do to adopt a clean and green environment. After the discussion, children created their own Captain Green with different roles to provide a clean and sustainable green city. By the end of the activity, children shared verbally about their own drawings with their friends.
