The Bright Kids Jurong West “Start Small Dream Big” project culminated in a heartwarming visit to Jamiyah Nursing Home on June 21, 2024, involving K1 and K2 students. The children had rehearsed diligently and performed two songs—one in English and one in Chinese—during their visit. Following their performances, they engaged in brief, friendly conversations with the nursing home residents.
In preparation for the visit, the school reached out to parents of N2 to K2 students in May, requesting donations of items needed by the nursing home. The response was highly supportive, and the children packed the donations prior to the visit. Additionally, the children created a special poster that they presented to the residents. This project not only brought joy to the seniors but also reinforced values of empathy and community involvement among the young participants and their families.
