Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) Launch Party was held on 22 April 2019 at MY World @ Hougang Dewcourt. Parents of K1 and K2 children were invited to the launch event.
They were introduced to SSDB through presentation slide show and videos. We shared the centre’s project Art and the Merdeka Generation. We also shared the objective – to ignite children’s innate curiosity through innovations from the Merdeka Generation.
Parents expressed their support and excitement during the sharing session.
Our Principal and Vice Principal c0-launched SSDB with Marbles Drop. They dropped marbles and everyone watched these marbles moved through rainbow tunnels to the collection cups. The SSBD banner was also unveiled.
Children put on their SSDB orange caps and stickers and performed for all. K1 performed Sharing Song and K2, Try A Little Kindness. After the performances, pledge cards were distributed to children and their parents for them to pen down their dreams for the future Singapore and how they can show kindness and appreciation to the Merdeka Generation. Everyone enjoyed the bonding activity as well as the refreshment!
We were thankful for the successful launch of SSDB at MY World @ Hougang Dewcourt and grateful to our wonderful parents for their support in this project.
