Animal shelter will not run without the volunteers, employees, and veterinarians. As part of our goal for the children to recognize the effort of the people behind the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), the animal shelter our centre is partnered with, our N2 children painted a ‘Thank You’ message for them.
At first, the children had a storytelling about the pet that went astray because of the orwner’s neglect and was rescued by SPCA. It was interesting that children were responding about the ways we can better take care of our pets. Then they were shown a video inside the SPCA, and how the pets are being taken care of by the volunteers, employees, and veterinarians. Afterwards, it was explained to them that we could show our appreciation by making a simple ‘Thank You’ message card. The children showed effort to make it beautifully for the SPCA.
We are hoping that through this, it will uplift the spirit of the SPCA’s volunteers, employees, and doctors.
