Ageing Centre Visit

Next, we aim to extend our love and care to the elderly at the nearby aging center. In collaboration with the MWS Ageing Centre@Fernvale Rivergrove, we have organized a special visit where our children will have the opportunity to spend quality time with the elderly residents. During the visit, the children will engage in a range of interactive activities, such as crafting, games engagement, and performing, fostering meaningful connections across generations. This initiative is designed to nurture empathy, respect, and understanding in the children, while also bringing joy and companionship to the elderly community. Through this visit, we hope to emphasize the importance of intergenerational bonding and the role that young children can play in caring for and appreciating older adults.

Look at how heartwarming their photos are with the elderlies!

The smiles and moments of connection captured in these images truly reflect the joy and love shared between the children and the older generation. It’s a beautiful reminder of the bonds that can be formed when different generations come together, creating memories that both the children and elderly will cherish.

The children also prepared a heartfelt performance to entertain and bring joy to the elderly. In addition, they presented a collaborative artwork, created by all the children, as a meaningful gift to the aging center.

By the end of the day, the elderly were filled with joy and appreciation, their smiles reflecting how much the children’s presence and efforts had brightened their day. It was a heartwarming experience that fostered a deep connection between the generations, leaving lasting memories for both the children and the elderly.
