Terms and Conditions for eCard Contest Contestants
Contest is open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents aged 6 to 12 years old only.
Contestants can submit as many eCards as they want between 9 June – 13 July 2008
The contestant must own all property rights (including copyrights) to the eCards submitted, and must be capable of transferring legal ownership of the eCards to the Singapore Government, as required under these Terms and Conditions.
Submission ends at midnight of 13 July 2008.
eCards submitted before 9 June 2008 or after 13 July 2008 will not be considered/accepted.
Contestant’s school will be contacted via email if submitted eCards are shortlisted.
eCards must not contain obscene or offensive content.
eCards have to be either in JPEG not exceeding 1MB in size.
Contestants enter the contest at their own risk and NDP 2008 EXCO Committee and the Singapore Government shall not be responsible for any unauthorized publication, public communication, adaptation and/or duplication of eCards submitted.
By entering the Contest, contestants agree to transfer their ownership rights (including all intellectual property rights) of the eCards submitted, to the Singapore Government, NDP 2008 EXCO Committee & LittleLives. If requested or if necessary, contestants shall complete further documents to ensure the transfer of such rights (including all intellectual property rights) to the Singapore Government, NDP 2008 EXCO Committee & LittleLives.
The Singapore Government and NDP 2008 EXCO and LittleLives reserve the right to use the eCards in any publicity/promotion
materials with appropriate credit given to the contestant.
Terms and Conditions for eCard Contest Senders/Voters
eCard Sender / Voter must be Singapore citizens or permanent residents to be eligible for the Lucky Voter prize.
The public will send / vote for favorite eCard between 18 July – 8 August 2008.
Voters can send as many eCards / vote as many times they want.
Voter Prize will be drawn at random with every sending of an eCard giving 1 chance. Send more eCards to get more chances to win the Lucky Voter prize.
Voter Prize Winner will be notified via email.
General Terms and Conditions for both Contestants and Voters
There will be 3 top winners & 10 merit winners for the eCard Contest & 1 Voter Prize.
The eCard with the highest sent rate i.e. receives the highest number of votes wins.
All winners will be announced on the website (and publication, if any) during the week of 18 August 2008. Winners will be notified via email.
Prizes are not exchangeable under any circumstances.
Prizes must be collected within 30days of notification. Any prize not collected within the time specified will be forfeited and the NDP 2008 EXCO and the Singapore Government shall not be liable to any person for any losses, damages or any other liability suffered in the event of any such forfeiture.
NDP 2008 EXCO reserves the right to alter the Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
The NDP 2008 EXCO and Judge’s decision are final, conclusive and binding on all Contestants and Voters, and no correspondence will be entertained.
All costs (if any) incurred in participating in the Contest or Voting shall be at the sole expense of the Contestant or the Voter (as the case may be).
The Contestant/Voter warrants that the information, details and particulars submitted by him/her to NDP 2008 EXCO are true, accurate and complete. Any untrue, inaccurate or incomplete details, information or particulars submitted may render the Contestant or Voter (as the case may be) liable for disqualification.
Without prejudice to the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions, the NDP 2008 EXCO and the Singapore Government shall not be liable to any person for any losses, damages or any other liability suffered in connection with the
Contest or with the Voting.
